The next few days and weeks will be difficult for us as we want to get the next step for Mary right - as will the professionals in any of the care settings she goes into. Please do pray for this transition, that we can find a place which is right for Mary, where she can relax as much as possible, be away from hospital, enjoy life and continue to recover at her own pace.

To do list...
Staff at Homerton have been working with us on a wonderful file for Mary, full of things she likes to do. If you know Mary you'll know that she likes to do ALOT, so as you can imagine, its pretty packed - poetry readings, music, trips out, short film and book extracts, photos of all the people she loves (a tome in itself). This folder will be part of the next steps of Mary's recovery. As she gets ready to leave the Homerton, her rehab will be more focused on leisure activities and things she enjoys and a little less of some of the more intense therapy she had been receiving, which often tired her out so much. We hope that on visiting her you will also be able to be part of these activities.
