Wine and Cake

Mary has said 'no' again this week. Carers and visitors have thought Mary is trying to say other words, but it does seem difficult for her to do this as yet. We are hoping that as she is supported to swallow a bit better, and begins to get used to reusing and strengthening muscles and vocal chords, this speaking malarky may become a little bit easier, but it is early days. As yet Mary hasn't been able to vocalise anything else. Despite this, bets are already been made on Mary's second and third words, amongst them 'wine' and 'cake'. Any advances?!
