Mary has settled well into her new home. Since being there she has enjoyed a jacuzzi bath and the odd christmas party. However celebrations were mainly from the comfort of her new bed as Mary suffered a chest infection in the first few days after she transferred. Thankfully this was diagnosed quickly and Mary is currently responding well to the course of antibiotics. As yet its still unclear why Mary does seem to particularly suffer with these chest infections, her immune system does remain low.
Mary seems very fatigued at the moment. No doubt the move, a whole new set of surroundings and people as well as a chest infection, have added to this. As such she hasn't been very responsive, not even to cheesy christmas pop. She does however seem much more comfortable and relaxed in her new bed and her surroundings are much more peaceful. The staff where she is are incredibly caring and good natured, not only towards Mary but to all of us who have popped by to spend some time with her.
