We got another three 'no's from Mary a week ago when our cousin tried to wipe Mary's face. These 'no's', although few and far between do appear emphatic when they arise!
Last Sunday a group of us from church went to go and see Mary. We wanted to bring church to her (although Mary had already been wheeled to Mass that morning, so I think got double portions!). We sang to her (she made distinct murmuring, particularly when we sang, which we thought was either her trying to join in or tell us to push off). We read some psalms and prayed with her. We made sure to give her 'no's an opportunity to arise, although moving her mouth a lot, none came. After we left one of the nurses came in and asked Mary 'Did you enjoy that Mary?', Mary replied 'yes'.
Amazing!
